Before you order
Know what to specify.
A flange enquiry needs the flange type, size, material grade, applicable standard, pressure designation, face type and bore details. Bolt hole dimensions alone do not establish a flange pressure rating or confirm interchangeability.
Specify the standard and flange type
State whether you need a weld neck, slip on, blind or another flange type. Include the actual standard and designation from the project drawing or existing equipment. Do not combine different flange systems on the assumption that a similar nominal size will fit.
Bore and pipe compatibility
For weld neck flanges, include the pipe dimensions and schedule or wall thickness. For other types, state the required bore and facing details. Confirm the mating flange, gasket and bolting requirements together when preparing a connection material list.
SS304 and SS316 supply enquiries
Our primary stainless steel grades are SS304 and SS316. Include any exact material specification, inspection requirements and certificate requirements in the enquiry. We supply as a dealer and supplier; this page does not claim that M.S. Associates manufactures flanges.
Ordering replacements and project quantities
For maintenance work, share the existing flange markings, a dimensional sketch and photographs. For a project, list each size and type separately with quantities. Small replacements and bulk enquiries are welcome, with delivery arrangements and offered specifications confirmed in the official quotation.
