Know what to specify.
An SS angle is an L shaped section. Specify both leg dimensions, thickness, material grade and required length. State whether it is an equal or unequal angle. An angle section and an angle fitting for pipework are different products.
Equal and unequal angle dimensions
An equal angle has matching leg dimensions; an unequal angle has different leg dimensions. Include both values and the thickness with units in the purchase description. Where installation space or fit up is critical, add a drawing and required tolerances rather than relying only on a trade size.
Material grade and form
SS304 and SS316 are our primary grades. Include the exact material specification, finish and any manufacturing form requirement in your enquiry. SS202 or SS410 requirements can be reviewed where applicable; the offered section and grade must be confirmed rather than assumed from a general listing.
For fabrication and equipment maintenance
Share whether the section is for a replacement, a fabrication drawing or a project bill of materials. Load bearing suitability and section selection must follow the responsible engineer’s design. Supplying an angle does not establish a particular structural capacity.
Lengths and purchase quantities
Provide standard length or cut length requirements, number of pieces or total metres, and any inspection or certificate requirements. Where a cutting list is involved, include it for confirmation of supply arrangements. We welcome small replacements as well as bulk project enquiries.
