Before you order
Know what to specify.
SS chequered sheet has a raised surface pattern and is also searched for as stainless steel checker plate. When comparing quotations, confirm whether the quoted thickness refers to the base material or includes the raised pattern. Do not assume that every patterned sheet has the same thickness convention.
Identify the surface pattern
Include a pattern description, photograph or drawing. State the required sheet length and width, material grade and finish. If the sheet must match an existing installation, provide the pattern and dimensional requirements before ordering. A generic chequered sheet description may not identify an exact replacement.
Base thickness and overall thickness
Specify the required base thickness and clarify any overall thickness requirement. Ask for the measurement basis to be recorded in the offer. If you are comparing two suppliers, check that both are quoting the same grade, thickness basis, dimensions and pattern.
Application and design requirements
Tell us the intended use and any engineering specification for platforms, covers, equipment surrounds or other applications. Raised pattern alone does not establish slip resistance certification or load capacity. Support spacing, thickness and installation design should follow the project’s engineering requirements.
Grades and documentation
SS304 and SS316 are our primary stainless steel grades. State the exact grade and any certificate, inspection or surface requirement in the enquiry. The available product form and supplied documents are confirmed in the quotation; a general grade range does not mean every grade is supplied in every pattern.
Send a clear quotation request
Include grade, pattern, base thickness, sheet dimensions, quantity, delivery location and required date. Small replacement and bulk enquiries are both welcome. WhatsApp is preferred for initial requirements and email for official quotations and correspondence.
